How to find out about honors?

I haven't received any emails in my normal account or my UF account. No acceptances or rejections. I know a friend that got in though...

I’m in the same exact boat. I’m in Florida and my friend is in California though, so maybe its in waves by states? I don’y really know.

You’ll receive the e-mail in your UF account. They have until April 2nd to notify everyone. If you want, you can send them an e-mail on Monday, asking for an update.

This year they had more than 2,200 applicants who were eligible for 700 available seats. So, less than 1 in 3 are getting into the program as incoming freshmen.

Then again, all 6,400+ enrolled freshmen in the class 2018 are “honor” students. UF is academically strong enough that honors is a nice to have (maybe) but not “important”. :-bd

Good Luck!

S was invited. He’s OOS and also received Gator Nation. He’s flying home from visit to campus. Decision to come.

Did your son attend the Gator Engineering Experience, on Friday? And how much of a hassle was the flight to Gainesville?

Yes, he did attend. He and my wife flew into Tampa on Tuesday and hung out with friends in Lakeland. Hey drove up through Green Swamp arriving Thursday with no real issues. After meeting with the drum line instructor, they got a tour with our friend’s daughter who’s a sophomore and Friday participated in GEE Day. On Saturday morning, my son participated in a drum line workshop before heading back to Tampa for their 6pm flight. Getting through Ocala was tough as there was an accident on I75. Otherwise, a very packed trip.

Honors notices are posted - apparently have been for a few days. Daughter just checked her UF email based on Gator88NE’s instruction above and it was sent on the 28th. She got in.
