Congratulations on your acceptance to Vassar, and welcome to the Class of 2014 website. Log in with your Vassar ID number (provided in your official letter of admission) and your Vassar PIN.

It does say “provided in…official letter of admission,” but perhaps we don’t get new IDs and PINs?

I can’t log on. :(

Guys I don’t understand a thing. Did any of you actually receive an email? Or did you investigate on your own?

“Did I Make a Mistake” - Did you get into the “Accepted” Vassar site with your RD ID and Password?

D has NOT rec’d any email yet, but this seems legit. Go to:

congrats2014.vassar.edu

Log in with the ID and PW you were assigned when you applied.

If you’re in, you get the “You’re In” page.

I don’t know how the OP got this info, but there it is.

I can’t tell if DIMAM’s information is legit but I’m unable to access the site so I’m assuming a rejection. Congrats to anyone who finds out of their acceptance in this manner.

This is what I am getting. The site does not exist as far as my little computer is telling me or perhaps Vassar is telling me sorry.

I GOT THE SAME PAGE THAT DIDIMAKEAMISTAKE got!! I think i’m in.ahh!

I am hoping that they have not finished inputting all accepted students’ IDs onto the server! After all, there are a couple more days left… or maybe I’m being blindly optimistic? :P

Pozzol, I am international, too. I think we can hope for a bit longer. :)

Do any internationals get the accepted page?

I can’t… I’m just depressed now… Vassar is my first choice.

Oh gapyear please do not be depressed. Let me tell you a little story about a little girl who did not get into her 1st choice a zillion years ago. Well, once upon a time a skinny odd looking tall girl attended her 2nd choice school. Through various aquaintances/possibilities she moved to europe and married a handsome prince and she is living happily ever after. 2nd choice isn’t alllwaaays the end of the world. Really. It hurts. But I am so prepared to be rejected. Please read my other posts. My high school has been pure drudgery. I am presently translating passages from Antigone(ancient greek into italian, comparing Neitzsche to Schopenhauer and on and on.) I have passed my music theory exams and could easily skip the first two years. My high school has not one guidance counselor. You are on your own baby. We come out fattened with information like the Christmas goose from Scrooge only be ka-chunged from the colleges of our first choice. I wish you all the best. Smile. Breathe.

@pozzol : Thank you. Although I barely understood that ;), I think I feel better. Either way, I’ll still love Vassar. And I have a good safety, so… yay? :)

EDIT : I’m still hoping for a miracle.

Sorry for the typos. I will keep you all posted. At this point I have no safety schools. Fantastico!

“EDIT : I’m still hoping for a miracle.”

Aren’t we all, gapyearstudent?

I can’t get to the accepted page either…

Pozzol, that was some very good storytelling/encouraging. :)

Thanks. And I have been doing some serious thinking. I am a broad who wishes to study abroad so I can get into a program where I can study abroad. Maybe I should stay where I am. I may have no choice! I only applied to four schools!

fidgets I couldn’t log in either 0.o Eep. I’m glad there are so many other kids freaking out though. >.< No answer back from your other schools, Pozzol? Vassar’s my first choice, but at least I have decent-ish fallback… =.= Let’s hope that the website doesn’t mean anything and we have to wait for the letters… >.<

Looks like they took it down (or disabled the login in). I don’t think anyone can log in now.

The page is still there… you have to put http:// first then go straight to congrats…

No www. in the address.

What I meant was, I was able to sign in before, and now I’m not. The page still appears, but it’s not allowing me to login. Anyone else able to login?
