<p>if you aren't a freshman....or if you are and have somehow dodged the mandatory first year dorm stay (in most cases), then maybe contact the illini tenant union and explain your need for a roomate or check out the daily illini newspaper website, sometimes they have apt listings.</p>
<p>but, if you're a freshman and are living in a dorm, they will assign your roomate for you, unless you specify one. maybe what you're asking for is help finding somone you could specify....but you're not gonna know the person either way so I don't see the difference.</p>
<p>I know craigslist which does a good job for letting ppl post ad and look for roommate, but it seems the corn-fielders don't use this craigslist as often as those in SF. I am wondering whether there is any other public (free) posting website ppl here are using ...</p>

<p>well, to clarify. I am not a freshman, and am looking for a male roommate for my 2-bedroom apt. If anybody feels interested, let me know. Splitted rental is only $250, perfect for students like me who want to cut down the budget.</p>
