In the newer edition of the blue College Board book I scored a 740 on the Chemistry SAT II today. In the older edition CB Chem SAT II I scored a 700. I took 2 Barrons tests and scored in the 680-700 and 680-700 and 700-720 range (took 2 out of 4 tests).

I've read the entire Barrons book also. I haven't taken AP Chem, but Honors Chem. How do I get myself up to 800 for the real test in October? Minimum 750. And what score do you think I would get based on the scores I'm getting?

Barron’s tests are that good.

The CB testsis obviously the best, but try the PR ones. I got a 780 and an 800 in the PR book, and ended up with a 780 on the real thing.

The AP course really does help you get the ideas really well, but you should be fine with Honors. Memorize the Barron’s book, and if you feel like it, read the Barron’s AP Chem book (it has a lot of info, and some of it’s extraneous, but it should help).

Thanks. Actually, after looking over my CB tests, I realize I make a lot of stupid mistakes. I could have gotten a 770 on the blue book test from the newer edition I took today. I misread/incorrectly bubbled 6 questions.
