hey u guys for all of u who did great in math iic..how did u do it?? any tips??

I've always been good at math and done well on standardized tests in math, but I noticed that taking Precal this past year really helped for Math IIC. A few of my friends who took I C and Precal weren't as fresh on the material (I guess it is more over Geometry or Algebra..??). Anyways, get a study book and go through it learning all the tricks and concepts then take some practice tests. Sorry if this doesn't help, but I guess my main thing is that taking at least precal right before this test really helps

Work hard in your precalc class. Get a prep book (or two). If you're realllly determined, and you can stand a blow to the ego, work with Barron's.

Also, a TI-89 helps.

It was more about getting the timing of the test down for me than the accuracy, because I'm one who will refuse to leave multiple choice questions blank. There really wasn't any calculus on the test, just a lot of trig and a fair amount of conics, which my school barely touched on, about 3 years before I took the test. I personally felt the Kaplan book (with an error or two) did a fine job of preparing me for the test.

I recommend that Subject tests be taken in June or May of your Junior year while the majority of the material is still in your head (cause you need it for APs or finals).

I second the TI-89 ^^

Ti-89 helps

haha I like mine. A lot :)

pats calculator

yeah use your calc alot esp for solving equations by graphing and finding the intersection point

take practice tests too. the test wasn't that hard i think, but it spent too much time on each question and ended up finishing only half of it. taking practice tests should help u prepare

I hate all of you and your TI-89's.

I got an 800 and the thing that helped me the most was just having a really good math teacher for the past 2 years. I didn't really study at all, and I only had a TI-83 Plus.
