do u need to be GOOD at government, or just be active and stand out, and be good at communicating with people at the boy's state conference?

what if you are really good and take an active part but you know nothing about government at all?

You need to have charisma and you need to be funny. You also need to have good understanding of how government works and how the problems should be addressed, but you can still win with great speaking skills and some lacking knowledge, but you have a very small chance vice versa.

"Good" at government? I'm not sure how "funny" you have to be, but you probably do have to be active and charismatic, with a sense of prudence and critical thinking, not to mention knowledge of governmental structure and function. Good oratory skills is a given.

I'm a delegate for California this year, though I don't have aspirations of going onto Boys Nation (in part because I probably wouldn't get it, and part because I'm sorta not into it).

If anyone needs help with elections process they can email me at apexeffect@gmail.com

I am not strong at government, but in public speaking, being charismatic and funny, and manipulating/scheming for votes then I am the man for you. :)

I'm e-mailing you now.
