How to get help with homework?

I need someone to help with or check over my chemistry homework, can anyone here help or direct me to where I could?

Look up “chemical portal” also known as “webqc” and click on “forum”. Questions get answered daily (not hourly)- as long as the person asking for help made a reasonable attempt to solve the problem on his/her own first. I’m not affiliated with that site, but I know that it is monitored by certain seasoned chemistry pros. Good luck!

You could also go in to office hours & see your instructor. This will help show the instructor you’re serious about his/her course as well. The instructor also can give you tips about what they want you to show on your assignments (some mark down points if you don’t show enough of your work).

Are you in HS or in college? If HS, I don’t know what resources are available where you are, but where I live, there is homework help at our public library, and also our state operates a homework portal for assistance. I don’t know if these resources are only available during the school year or if they are available year round.

If you are currently taking a class, then your teacher or school or others in your class are resources. The college my D attends lists academic resources by department. The university where I work has open math and writing labs, plus the walls are plastered with advertisements for tutoring. When I wanted to find a math tutor for my HS s, I called the math department and also a friend who is a math professor and received recommendations. Several of the tutors listed were graduates who currently were public school teachers.

I was in our main science building for a meeting the other day and saw tutors listed in our chemistry department. So the schools in your area (whether or not you are a currently registered student) might be good places to start looking for assistance.
