hahah...magic formula? you think this is some game? (actually it kind of is)... i just decided to make a thread dedicated to all those who are so desperate to "calculate their chances" that they would want to find out their magic number.

:::I would actually probably do it out of curiousity/extreme boredom in 18 days:::

I always joke about that with my friends.
Because you always here BLAH% of SAT scores of BLAH to BLAH get accepted.
And BLAH% of BLAH race get accepted.
And BLAH% of the state of BLAH also get accepted.

So someone really smart should just make a formula out of all the percentages and make a probability of getting accepted. =)

If I'm accepted (read: if I'm not depressed :P) I'll set up a database where people can put in their SAT and GPA and we can map the whole thing.

That would be really cool! :) You should do it - even if you aren't accepted to Princeton (hey, you'll be at varsity somewhere! lol! ...Actually, that isn't very funny...:))

Or. Someone could just spend hours compiling and sorting all of the information available in the many years of the Common Data Set and derive a magical set of Stats required to be gaurunteed a posistion at Pton. YAY!!
