How to get into MSU with a low act score?

I graduated a few years ago from High school as valedictorian. Ive been attending a community college now I’m almost done with my associate and I want to transfer. I’m worried I won’t get in with my ACT score. My act score was higher than average at my school and the highest that year. Here’s the kicker it was a 19. I’m a slow test taker and I don’t do well on timed tests. Anyways, at my current college I’ve made dean’s list every semester and I want to know how to improve my chances of getting into Michigan State.

The more credits you have, the less likely they are to look at high school transcripts/test scores. I know for umich, once you have 60 transfer credits, the only look at the credits and not anything prior to college.

what high school did you attend?

For MSU if you have at least 28 college credits they don’t require any high school paperwork at all.
