<p>Next year, for 10th grade, I would really like be at a prep school. I wanted to attend for what would be this year but of course that was a flat out no from my parents. Our public school isn't good, at all. And frankly I don't see myself getting anything out of that. So I was wondering if any of you would help me out. i.e. how to convince the parentals, where grades and extracurriculars should be this year to be accepted/ possible scholarships.</p>
<p>@aaallliii: I would do a search of the threads. The topic of “how can I convince my parents to let me apply/go to to boarding school” has been asked and addressed somewhat recently…you may have to scan the first few pages of the main forum to find it (unless you hit the search terms just right).</p>
<p>Additionally, if you search the “Chance Me” forums, you can get a picture of what other applicants are bringing to the table.</p>
