<p>Hi everyone, I'm currently going to SFSU for philosophy. I hope to continue my education when i graduate to grad school so I can one day become a professor. I know Berkeley is a top school, especially for philosophy, so I was wondering what I would need to accomplish here at SFSU to have a shot at getting into Berkeley? </p>

<p>Be as close to a 4.0 as possible, develop a close relationship to one or two profs, work as a TA for them and/or ask if you can help in their research and/or how you could work on a paper so that it can be presented at a conference and/or tutor the 1st year course students and/or prepare a thesis or major paper that youll draft and rewrite, and rewrite, and rewrite.</p>
<p>BTW, go see the movie “Hannah Arendt” when it opens in your town (or try to find it somehow/where) because it’s great.</p>
