How to get more aid

I was accepted to Drexel University and was offered a scholarship but it is not enough money for me to be able to go there. I really want to go there so I am planning to call their admissions office to talked to them about possibly giving me more aid but I am not sure what to say to persuade them. Any suggestions?

It will only work if you got some scholarships from a comparable university. Then you can say College A gave me these scholarships and I’d really like to attend Drexel. Can you meet that?

What is your EFC and do you already have a full awards package from them?

What is your EFC and what did your aid package include?

I don’t know what my EFC is yet, but Drexel offered me $17,500 as an academic scholarship. I have not received any scholarships from comparable universities but I was accepted to Binghamton which is comparable but much cheaper.

Drexel has a procedure for appealing the financial aid - [Admission Policies | Undergraduate Admissions | Drexel University](http://www.drexel.edu/undergrad/apply/admissions-policies/#faappeals)

I don’t know what my EFC is yet,

Do you know what it is now?
