How do I get more financial aid from a school. They’ve given us a lot of loans, but no grants/scholarships. I’d like to ask for more, any suggestions on how to do this?

Did you run the Net Price Calculator for this school before you applied? If not, run it now. How does the estimated cost compare to your actual cost? If there’s a dramatic difference, contact the financial aid office and ask them to explain.
If the award you received is more or less the award indicated by the Net Price Calculator, then there’s probably not much you can do. If you need a small grant, you can ask, and there may be a chance of getting it, but if you’re trying to cover a huge gap, it’s unlikely you’ll get what you need.
