First of all, I have little to no hope for writing, and plan on going to college and pursue a career in math and science and i know many math and science schools do not look at writing. What I have come to ask is how can I boost that reading grade to a 600. Many people tell me to practice in the blue book, but doing the same similar problems over again isn't helping me. I need techniques and tips or something that will build my critical reading skills from the ground to the sky. Secondly I am really aiming for a score in math above a 700. Is there something that can help me with attaining a score like that, like a certain book or guide. I really want to dedicate my summer to getting high scores in critical reading in math, is there anything that you guys or girls suggest for me to do?

I'm enrolled at a sat class, but it doesn't help much because it is to fast paced and 90% in the class get above 2000.

All help is appreciated and i thank you dearly for the time and effort you all put into responses.

go to the website critical reader dot com
Purchase her book.
She also has a book the Ultimate Guide to SAT Grammar. Easy to increase your Writing score also. Plenty of time to do improve both.
She is the #1 recommended when it comes to CR and Writing of the SAT.

^^Agreed. For math I would suggest some combo of Gruber’s, PWN the SAT and the Black Book. After learning the concepts and techniques go back to the blue book and other official college board tests. make sure you spend as much time reviewing each test as you do taking it. Evaluate your weaknesses and focus on specific areas of improvement.
