How to Get off the Waitlist

I'll ask the question we are all afraid to ask: How does one get off the WashU waitlist?

We all know that their yeild is something stupid like 30% so we have somewhat of a decent chance. What can we do to improve that chance? Send in a letter of rec, a personal letter, what?

As sad as it is, will notifying the University of our financial concern(s) or commitments, aid or hurt us in any way?

I got in off the waitlist (I’m a freshman now), see my post here for suggestions on how to get in:

Good luck!
