i got my first two letters back from the schools i thought i had the best chances of getting into, and both schools have waitlisted me. i am still waiting to hear back from the rest of the schools, but since these schools have not accepted me, i am not really holding my breath.
i don't really have much more to send in as for academic information and achievements since i've submitted my application..
do i just cross my fingers until june 30, or is there something i can do?

Keep up those grades. Lots of colleges check the 3rd term grades of waitlisted applicants.

Write an appeal.

Tell your top choice (probably don’t stay on the waitlist if it’s not your top choice except if finances are an issue or whatever) that you will immediately accept the invitation if accepted, and have your GC confirm this with the school (by phone or whatever). Send whatever update you can, and send 3rd quarter grades if they’re good.
