<p>I live in Texas, but I am really wanting to go out of state for college, and the one that I am looking at the most is Oregon State. And I was wondering if anybody had any comments/advice on how to guarantee acceptance? I'm a junior in high school with an unweighted gpa of 3.6 and weighted of 4.2. I need advice!</p>
<p>you can’t really guarantee acceptance to any school; if the most important thing for you is to get out of texas for college, the thing you need to do is find multiple out of state schools that you like and have good chances at, so all your hopes aren’t riding on one school.</p>
<p>and i don’t know oregon state that well, but it seems like you have good stats to get in 
just make sure to have a back up.</p>
