How to get over bad grades depression?

Ok so I received my report card...not too happy...

Pre cal- 99
Chem 2- 97
English 11- 91
U.S history - 87

I'm a junior, if I do awesome senior year (98's and 99's)
Will colleges overlook this. If I also put in my essay that I was going through some things at the time.

My SAT score is 2150 (no prep). I plan on retaking it in november.

My subject scores
Math - 800
English 640 (ug)
U.S History- 740

Your grades in precalc, chem and English are better than mine. US History it’s not really fair to compare because my teacher liked me and gave me good essay grades. Your grades are good, you don’t need to put anything about them in your essay.
You don’t have to do well senior year to get into a good school - most colleges won’t even see your senior year grades until after you’re admitted.

Your SAT score is fine, as long is it’s not extremely unbalanced (800, 800 and 550).

I hope I’m not bursting your bubble when I say that you won’t get into Harvard with those stats. But you’re fine.

…wow are you kidding me?

You must perform seppuku, for you have dishonored your family and your community, and if you do not do so you are destined to live a life of pure shame and homelessness for not getting into Harvard.

You should be ashamed of yourself.

But seriously, people need to calm the f*** down.

Boo-friggen-hoo. You got low-B+ to high A.
You’re doing better than most people who get in anywhere! You’re either a ■■■■■, or seriously need help.

Doinks exactly what i was thinking…*** is up this person??

Aren’t you the one who liked that friend who wanted to date an Ivy League girl?

I guess the B isn’t good, but your other scores are really good.

Yea, but you probably won’t get into Harvard thought if you think these grades will affect your chances.

@Daxlo5

That’s not necessarily true, If Harvard bunny is a legacy she might get in

@AlliHarvardBunny

My friend always freaked out about her grades, she wanted to go to Yale since she was 10 years old. She got accepted into Yale, but by that time she had already fallen in love with our local state university, and well…you know the rest ;)

So stop freaking out about your grades! Don’t let the past be detrimental to your present, keep moving forward and go with the flow.

Colleges look at you as a whole person–NOT as individual grades, ECs, etc. A few “meh” grades or test scores will not determine your future.

If you’re that upset about your grades, I think I should be the one who wants to commit suicide. O_o; Jayyyzu8zuz8uz.
