How to get over test anxiety

Could anyone offer some ways that they found works for them when dealing with test anxiety and stress during the test?

I got over it by taking lots of timed tests and timing them so that I got less time than was offered, so I would not feel too pressured. It also works if you are cathartic before the test. You can do this by taking time to get your fears out on paper or even talking to someone about your fears. If you get them out, you will generally be less anxious and stressed. This is what I did to get over the anxiety and stress, but unfortunately for me, my weakness is material on the test.

maybe figure out a way to play a game with yourself for each question answered… but it needs to not take up much time. eat well before the test (whole grains and protein, not sugary carbs), take deep breaths.

being prepared though is indeed the best way to reduce the anxiety.
