The restaurant is still in business. We only went there once.
It seems a good time to repost this title, that has had a big influence on me. (A friend that hear stories of my mother, who died just before I retired, gave it to me as a retirement gift… so insightful, and funnier than I expected) The Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning | Book by Margareta Magnusson | Official Publisher Page | Simon & Schuster
Thanks! I’ve heard of it . I think they may have gone there but not sure. The Union Market area is interesting.
Colorado_mom - thanks! With Swedish background, I should really read that! I’m trying to move into Scandinavian minimalist mode and have a fair ways to go LOL.
It’s a fast and easy/enjoyable read. I’d send you my copy, except I already shipped it off to my sister.
Thank you for the book suggestion. I checked out the audiobook from the library in the spirit of not bringing one more thing into the house. It’s only about 3 hours long, read by Juliet Stevenson. I listened to it on my walk and afterward during my cleaning frenzy.
That sounds like something my mother would have done.
