<p>Im from NJ, going to go to Duke next year, and was wondering how most people got to and from Duke. Is taking taking the train/bus a good way?</p>
<p>I live in DE and I drive. In the past I’ve also flow into PHL and a friend of mine who goes to UNC takes Amtrak down so those are all viable methods. My friends in NY either drives or flies.</p>

<p>5-6 hours to get to DE, add another 1-2 for NJ</p>
<p>I’m from PA. I drive for move in day and fly for the breaks. The drive from PA is anywhere from 6-8 hours with DC traffic being the real bottleneck.</p>
<p>Depends where you are in NJ, but not a bad drive. From Long Island or NYC you can fly Jet Blue from Kennedy or fly Delta from LaGuardia. Not sure what’s at Newark, but drive isn’t bad.</p>
<p>Southwest from California. Bus/train, not so good from there…</p>
