How to get to Montreal

Does anyone know of a way to get to Montreal for the weekend without a car? The greyhound buses are like 12-18 hours... Is there another bus system that goes from Ithaca to Montreal?

It’s possible to take amtrak from Syracuse to Montreal if you really have to do that. Otherwise, why not flight from Syracuse to Montreal if you can afford it and need to be there ASAP?

Bus to Albany, train to MTRL.

In olden times there used to be a ride board in the Straight, now I guess there are some different alternatives:

two more options, maybe:

thanks for the suggestions. it would be so much easier if Cornell had its own central ride board. I wonder why they got rid of it

The original ride board of my day was a bunch of physical cubby holes in the Straight that people put messages into. Clearly obsolete in the internet era, which is no doubt why they replaced it with that on-line version.

As for what happened to that:
Maybe Craigslist et al was duplicating its function and diluting its post counts, so they thought it had become redundant. That would be my guess.
