I'm going to get on an international flight which leaves at 10 or 11 am. I plan on going to the airport @ 6-7 ish so i can have a lot of time to get through security and stuff.

I know there are buses to the airport and stuff but i'm still not sure about the details on how to get there... I heard there are free buses to the airport during this time, is it true? (december 13th??)

I need some help because otherwise I might miss the plane or pay 30 dollars for a ride... Thank you... Any upperclassmen who go home often by a plane help!

Your options are going to be a shared ride van ($15), a cab ($35+), or getting a friend to take you. USC does offer a free bus service to the airport on some days during finals week, but I highly doubt one will be leaving that early.

The cheepest way to get to the airport is using the metro. Walk to the freeway bus station on exposition, take a southbound bus to the Harbor freeway station, take the green line train east from that station to the aviation station, then take the free shuttle bus to your airline's terminal at LAX. All for a $3 day pass

Yeah I just reserved the prime shuttle XD thanks for helping me! I would take the bus if I didn't have 2+ baggages plus having to walk by myself with baggages @ 6 in the morning... XP

Hey do you know where I'll have to be to catch the shuttle though? (is it in front of EVK? (front of New/gate 3 area)

You should have been able to specify which gate when you made the reservation. (Type it in the Special Notes box.) The driver is usually happy to pick-up people anywhere that is publicly accessible on campus.

If you didn't have the chance to say what gate, you can call the office and give them your confirmation number and they can probably make the revision. Otherwise, the company will give you a reminder phone call the day before you leave, and ask you then where you would like to meet the van.
