How to go from a 2130 to a 2200+ in 10 days?

Hey guys,

I'm taking the November SAT in two weeks and aiming for a 2200+. I had been getting around 1900-2000 on the practice tests I took but on my most recent one I was glad to see I broke a 2130. However, my goal is at least 70 points higher.

In such a short amount of time left to prepare, what is there that I can do to improve? The breakup of my last practice test was CR:660, M:670, W:800. My main problem is vocab, which I am working on, and I am also trying to practice reading passages. I think I really need to bring up my math score but I'm not sure how!

Does anyone have any tips on increasing my math score, reading score, or just any overall prep tricks?

Thanks!

Your math score will be the easiest to bring up. Are you good at cramming? Then spend an hour or two every night taking the practice tests. Check your answers carefully and try to figure out if there’s a pattern to the things you keep getting wrong. If it’s a particular type of problem, then teach yourself to solve it (go online for help if your practice book doesn’t help.) If it’s carelessness, train yourself to read and solve a little more slowly.

Your writing score may go down–getting an 800 in W two times in a row is rare–but if you’re applying to schools that allow you to superscore, that shouldn’t matter.
