I practice martial arts at a local place, and I will list that as one of my extracurriculars. But this summer I plan on doing a fundraiser to help them raise money for supplies. Would this be a separate activity? Or perhaps it would go under the awards/achievements subsection?

Similarly, for wrestling I have attended a few camps over the summer. Where would I mention my participation in these camps?

But the martial arts fundraiser depends. If you are hosting or are an important member of the fundraising process, list it as a separate activity.

If, however, you just helped with the process, put it under the same activity. This way it won’t seem that you’re just trying to fill up space…

I’d list it as a separate activity. The fundraiser and the martial arts themselves require very different skills. It would be good to pay appropriate respect to both of them

^Agree and nice idea, by the way. For all of those rising Freshmen through Juniors trying to add to their EC list, this seems like a good way to kill two birds with one stone.
