<p>I was deferred...i want to send them an extra essay that i feel is pretty good. How do i present this to them? Do i just send it hoping they dont just toss it?</p>
<p>I think a letter saying "thank you for considering my application..." and "I am still very interested in attending Fordham..." etc. etc. would be good to send. (address it to an admissions counselor, dean of admissions, or someone with a similar status.) Also you can call them and actually ask what would be a good way to increase your chances of getting in.
