How to improve 540 math? :(

<p>I took the SAT for the first time, as a junior, in December.</p>

<p>My score breakdown was</p>

<p>CR: 680
M: 540
W:730</p>

<p>I'm totally happy with my CR and W scores, but what can I do to fix that math!!!!! I'm not shooting for 700+ unless that happens for some miraculous reason, just hopefully 650 or so. I don't even know why I did so poorly because I get A's in math class at school!!</p>

<p>Maybe you can borrow SAT prep math books, such as Barrons.</p>
