<p>My current CR scores is 730. I would like to raise it to atleast 760. Can you please give me some tips ? I plan to take the June SAT ? Is the curve bad in June, since a lot of students take it?</p>
<p>I raised my CR score from 600 in June to 790 in January by doing 1.5 hr of CR prep on Saturday mornings during November, December, and the beginning of January. I developed a technique for the passages that involved first reading the passage and marking it up and then actively reading through it. I would mark my answers in the test booklet as to not break focus. For the vocab I just reasoned through the sentences and used my knowledge of Latin. The key for me was to spend a lot of time in full focused practice and to always use practice time effectively.</p>

<p>Learn that the answer to a question may be SOMEWHERE ELSE IN THE PASSAGE. Even if the question goes along the lines of “In lines 21 to 23, the author…” the answer may be clearer if you had read line 40. Thus, try to read the ENTIRE passage.</p>
