I need help! How can I improve my november SAT Score from 1700 to 1950 when i retake the exam in march. I only took one practice test prior to taking the November Sat and did not study at all.

CR: 550
Writing: 550
Essay: 9
(Proctor only gave us 15 mins, i had a watch)
Math: 600

Books:
SAT: Official Study Guide and Barron's writing workbook (just got them in the mail)

Any tips on study plans?
I have the week off, so I'm trying to focus on it but i can spend an hour a day and 5-7 hours on weekends so i can improve my scores. I'm dedicated and hardworking! These Scores do not reflect my high school test grades and gpa and etc.

Take one timed practice test from the official study guide a week. Read through the lessons inside of the book that you are having trouble with. If you just take the 10 practice tests from now to then, your score will naturally improve because you will become more familiar with the test and recognize the types of questions asked.

I got a 1730 on Nov test and got a 1940 on Dec test. But my score is still not enough to schools I’m applying to
I prepared night and day without almost having a break as I was short of time and it was the last chance for me to take this test.
I only used practice tests released by CollegeBoard. Though I wanted to try out the other ones, I decided that the practice tests by the official testing center were the best. I tried out Princeton practice tests, but couldn’t finish all of the tests because I felt like I was wasting my time on the tests that were not that similar to the original ones. So I bought Online course instead. I suggest that you use online course before you use Blue Book tests because I found that Blue Book tests were a little bit harder than the online course ones. Really, you will see the difference. Online course tests were kinda easier. If you find thoroughly on internet, you can find online course tests for free. I only knew that after I wasted my 70 dollars. Moreover, I almost found every other practice test released by various companies for free on internet. You could find many tests ( in zip file) on ahashare.com. Search SAT or sth. Buy Direct Hits and memorize every vocab. I didn’t buy it either. I found the consolidated vocab list of Direct Hits on internet for free, then memorized. Also memorize every other vocab you encounter while doing real practice tests. That was also helpful. I guess you have a plenty of time. So you can do it.

Oh and go over thoroughly on every question you get wrong as well as right. That’s very important. I think that was really helpful, although very time-consuming.

Thanks for the help, any more tips? i was planning on taking the practice tests after practice tests but im worried about the writing a little not much about the essay though
