HOw to improve my critical reading score

I'm in grade 11 and I'm taking the SAT in this week and even though I know this is a little late for futrue reference how dpo I improve my critical reading score. I don' understand why I am so ad at it. I have taken practice tests and in math I Get 780-800, in writing I get mid 700's but in CR I get low 600's. (This usually adds up to 2150 or around there) I am a Canadian student so there isn't much opportunity to get tutoring or classes. I'm just so bad at the vocabulary. Also, with the reading, the only way I can fully comprehend what I read is to read it outloud or struggle with it and I know I can't do that. I Also always second guess myself. Someone told me the writing section doesn't really matter so really my score is around 1300 which is really bad!! I know I"m going to fail the CR Section this SAturday but when I retake it, do you guys have any tips on improving my critical reading score. BY the way I Am using the Blue Book and Kaplan.

McGraw-Hill’s SAT book seems to have really sound advice regarding critical reading. Kaplan I think is way too easy.

This comes from my experience:
Use the CollegeBoard’s SAT book. Those sample tests are by far the most accurate I’ve seen–avoid the Princeton SAT books at all costs (they are riddled with errors and the tests aren’t even accurate).
To improve your vocab: order SAT vocab books/flashcards and just STUDY THEM. That’s probably the best thing you can do. Give yourself a vocab study schedule and try to finish them. Try to use those words in your writing for school–talk to a teacher to help you if you need. Do what you have to.
To improve the Critical Reading: There are methods on how to do this. Go online and look them up–and just practice, practice, practice. I got better by just a ton of practice (600 → 750!).
