guest119,
You have a very strong resume! However, I would not be so consumed with an Letter of Assurance b/c USMA has dramatically reduced the number they issue. Instead, focus on earning a nomination and an appointment. (Are you a recruited athlete for hockey? If so, make sure you reach out to the coach and the USMA Admissions Athletics officer.)

Also, compare yourself to the USMA Class of 2015: http://www.usma.edu/classes/SiteAssets/SitePages/2015/2015profile.pdf

If you have not found it yet, I suggest you take a close look at the “Service Academy Forums” board: [Military Academy - USMA - United States of America Service Academy Forums](http://www.serviceacademyforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=4)

Check out the “sticky” notes at the top of the USMA section. They provide a lot of insight into the admissions process.

Good luck!
