Guys , I am giving SAT in October.I never read any kind of book except school text books or some tech magazines and in newspaper only Headlines.I have nearly 2 months before SAT and I want to get used to reading.I need to gain two things:
1.I want to get accustomed to reading material like the passages in SAT.You know a little out of context.
2.I want to improve my knowledge base for SAT essays.Giving better examples.I am an international undergraduate and I want to give examples of which my essay reader has some idea of.
Please suggest me which books should I read?I completely have no idea on any classics or something.I have just read Julius Caesar by Shakespeare and some English short stories of my textbook. Thanks for your advice and time.

The Scarlet Letter
1984
Fahrenheit 451
To Kill a Mockingbird (might be a bit racist to use as an example though)
Of Mice and Men
Brave New World
Great Expectations
Pride & Prejudice
etc. search online for classic books.

For SAT examples I prefer historical examples. i.e. MLK Jr., Civil War, Renaissance.
