how to improve my SAT and ACT scores???!

<p>Right now I am currently a sophomore and on the PSAT and the kaplan practice SAT I scored around 1400-1500. How can I make my score atleast 2000? My familt cannot afford sat classes right now. Any book suggestions to increase my vocabulary and writing or any books to help with the math part? Websites are also greatly appreciated. Have any reccomendations for sat books in general? </p>

<p>On the PLAN ACT (I believe thats what its called) last year I scored a 20. How do I make my score to atleast 30? Also any overall ideas to improve how I do in each section? Any website or book suggestions? Any reccomendations for the act in general?</p>

<p>At the moment I am really into Columbia University and I like biochemical engineering right now. Aby university suggestions?</p>

<p>Sorry but it is unrealistic to jump that high. And not to crush your dreams, but even a 2000 is no where near qualifying for Columbia. I recommend prioritizing the sections you can most improve, but also get more realistic with your college options.</p>
