How to improve my SAT score?

<p>Hi, I was wondering if anyone has any tips for preparing for the SAT. I am a freshman and have about 450 in each category. I need at least 600 in each subject to get into the Illinois Math and Science Academy. I take the SAT on January 25th so I don't have much time. Please help!</p>

<p>I got a 600 so far in the writing section by using Princeton review book how(how to crack the SAT) and for the essay watched a couple of YouTube videos and got a 9.</p>

<p>Look for the guides in the forum
Use the blue book
Princeton Review 11 practice tests- don’t even do the first couple reading and writing ones, read the explanations</p>
