how to improve on bio?

I took the SAT II biology exam last oct and nov, and did extremely bad both times. The first time I got a 540, and the second time I got a 510. I have only taken honors biology, as I cannot take AP bio until I am a senior. I used the McGraw-Hill book to prep, but as you can see, it didn't do me any good.
Thanks!

Buy Kaplan and PR and really study it. I also recommend the Bio flashcards that Sparknotes makes. You can buy them at barnes and noble for like $10,

So why don't you wait until you're a senior? You'd probably do a lot better then.

AP bio is very, very, very helpful for the SAT II.

But if you absolutely must take it before then, use Kaplan... that's what I did, and I thought it was very good.

Thanks all.

Since I can't take AP bio until senior year, I'm pretty sure I have to take the SAT II before then. If i take it later than Oct/Nov, it would be pointless, as college apps would already be sent, right?

right,
Just buy barrons...and STUDY UR BUTT OFF for 2 weeks and ur set...
U dont even really need a previous knowledge of biology todo this though it certainly helps..u just hafto be really good at memorizing

Use Barrons if you're not currently in AP Bio.

Hey i had a 700 score in bio this january im retaking it in may. I used both PR and barrons. I found that they did not have enough practice tests. I found tge experimental questions tricky how doni prepare for that? I want to really improve my score. What do i do. Please help.
