how difficult is it to get from a 23 to a 28 (5 points)....Also how do u do it...do u just read the whole princeton review book straighjt thru or wherever u need help then take practice tests?

i have the princeton review act book and the official one too

i didn't have to take a class! all i did was sit down with an ACT book for 5 weeks.
1st week - least difficult subject (reading for me)
2nd- less difficult (math)
3rd - moderately difficult (english)
4th - most difficult (science)
5th - review of all practice tests and subjects

then by the end of each week, i took a practice test of that section and in the last week bombarded myself with practice tests. my score composite rose 4 points and my english rose 12 (which either means i was dead the first time i took it or the studying method worked).

If you didn't prep before, prep this time. Lit should REALLY go up, science a bit too. Math(depends on how recently you took geo and algebra) could be handy to review.

I don't really think that the reviews helped for reading though.

-- And Tennisgal - I didn't take the courses, did well, just read the book(briefly) and it helped me a lot.
