How to Increase SAT I by 500 in 2 months ? Please Help !!

Greetings from MiddleEast.

I wrote SAT in June and got a 1170 { Had studied 3 hours only }
CR-270
MATHS-550
WRITING-350

I am gonna retake it on November 7 and I want to mainly improve in CR.

Please guys…help me out :frowning:

Of course you’ll have to work on reading/writing. 270 is extremely low.

Is English your second language? Are you able to substitute with the TOEFL?

I have got 7.5 IELTS and the test date is actually a month away and not two :’(

work in your english abilities. Because otherwise it is worthless for you to take multiple practices.

For critical reading, practice reading some passages like those on the SAT to speed up your reading.

Math is decent. Look up any concepts you didn’t understand and study those a little.

For writing, study grammar and punctuation rules.

Honestly, improving by 500 is very doable with a score like that. Get a practice book and you’ll improve a ton by the time the next SAT rolls around.

I think you can increase 500 points but not sure if you can do so in 2 months. I mean it is easier to increase from 1100 to 1600 than from 1600 to 2100. Just try to understand the test and you will be fine. Writing is easy if you learn the 20 mistakes that are there. CR is just to read a lot and have a strong vocab. For Math, I will say if you can get the PWNTHESAT math, that will help you a lot.

Definitely practice for more than 3 hours. I think you can raise it because the problem seems to be that you didnt practice enough but I think you could definitely do it.
