how to indicate CalGrant on FAFSA App?

<p>Hello:</p>

<p>Looking at the instructions for applying for the UC Blue and Gold program, it says:
Apply for a Cal Grant simply by checking it off on the FAFSA</p>

<p>We do not remember anywhere on the FAFSA asking to indicate for a CalGrant.</p>

<p>Does anyone know what we missed?</p>

<p>Cal Grant is applied for by submitting the GPA form (if this is a new application) and submitting a FAFSA. If this is a renewal for Cal Grant, you only have to submit FAFSA. There is nothing extra to check on FAFSA about Cal Grant or Blue&Gold.</p>

<p>Blue&Gold is applied for by applying for Cal Grant. If you are eligible for Cal Grant, you are more than likely going to receive that over Blue&Gold.</p>
