<p>My access period is over but, I would like to join a waitlist for a class. It says on the registrar's website that "Waitlisting will put you in an open seat from a class waitlist, and can do this outside of your access period." Could somebody tell me how to do this? It says "Registration is not open at this time; please try again later" when I try to access my registration page.</p>

<p>You can’t join the wait list outside of the access period, but the waitlist can take effect outside your access period. You’re going to have to wait until add/drop time at the beginning of the semester if your registration closed on the 17th.</p>
<p>Ah ok. I figured that would happen. I don’t know why I didn’t see that the class I wanted had a waitlist. Oh well, at least now I know :). Thank you for your quick reply!</p>
<p>“If you meet the requirements to be added to a waitlist, you will be offered one after attempting to add the class in the registration system.” and “You may join a waitlist only through the registration system.”</p>
<p>So that was my point? I can’t add the course to my waitlist because I can’t access the registration page due to my access period being expired.</p>
<p>If worst comes to worst, I have to walk an extra block to class… not big of a deal at all.</p>
