So first a little background- I graduated from Temple University for Risk Management and Insurance and a minor in Management Information Systems. I am working in the Insurance industry now. I was originally planning on getting an engineering degree but ended up in business for various reasons. After reading a lot about Supply Chain, I realized that this is something I would want to do. Problem is most jobs require a degree in Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering. My question is how do I go about applying for these jobs? I have take various BA courses as well as MSOM which was very focused on Supply Chain/ Logisitcs.

Start looking into Purchasing. It’s a part of supply chain and the entry level jobs for Purchasing just require a Bachelor’s degree, sometimes not even that. Once you break into their you can start getting some experience and transition into Logistics/MRP/Planner, etc.
