How to list/describe extracurriculars in online application

<p>I'm a bit confused about how I list and describe my extracurriculars in the application. For example, should I describe how much I love playing tennis?
Or maybe it's unnecessary to do that; if I just list that I play tennis and how much I play, perhaps the admission officers assume that I enjoy playing tennis, and I won't waste their time on reading a probably trite sentence. </p>

<p>I hope that's not too confusing.</p>

<p>Just say that you play tennis or something of that sort because there is normally a word limit, and they just want the basic info at first. If you are really passionate about it, however, there will be other chances to talk about how much you love it and stuff like that. I struggled myself fitting what I wanted to say in the boxes!</p>
