How to majorly raise my ACT score

Hi everyone, I'm looking for advice on how to raise my ACT score. I practiced with various books (Real ACT, PR- Cracking the ACT, etc.)
The first time I took it, I got:
English 28
Math 23
Reading 27
Science 26
Writing 7
Composite: 26

The second time I took it, I practiced with 1296 ACT practice questions. I got:
English 27
Math 26
Reading 23
Science 25
Writing 8
Composite 25

I need to raise my ACT score to at least a 30 to get a really good scholarship. Does anyone have any suggestion?

Read over the guides posted here on CC, and remember that nothing beats dedicated practice.

@Ponigurl‌ I am in the same position! It’s quite the confidence breaker

What you score on your practice exam is probably not as important as what you do after your exam. Do you “carefully” review the problems you missed? Do you know why and will you be able to get it right the next time you see similar problems? Unless you learned from your mistakes, you will keep making the same mistakes.
