How to Make Corrections to FAFSA

So I filled out my FAFSA yesterday, using estimations, and my mom's W2 arrived today showing a lower salary than I originally calculated.

So is there any way I could change that before the colleges see it or am I ****ed?

You are fine. Wait until you receive your email telling you your FAFSA has processed. At that point, you can make a correction and update the salary. When you make your corrections, don’t forget to sign it again with both your PIN and your parent’s PIN.

I also found mistakes in my estimates. Should I correct them now or wait till I have everything finalized from the taxes and can use the IRS data retrieval center.

Will the taxes be complete soon? If so, wait and do the retrieval. If it is going to be awhile, and if the change is significant, you may want to make an interim update. The more changes you make to a FAFSA, the greater the chance you may be selected for verification (statistics!) … but verification is really no big deal, so don’t worry about that.
