<p>i'm going to be transferring to college in the spring '11.
i will going to UT-Austin. my grades are not good enough to make it into the school for the fall.
it's such a big school that you don't see the same ppl everyday. how can i make close friends as not only as transfer, but a spring transfer?</p>
<p>Spring transfer huh? Put up a maypole on the campus green and dance around it until others join. These people are now your friends.</p>

<p>Why don’t you try joining some clubs or associating with people in your classes? Social life sucks at a CC and that’s how I make my friends.</p>
