Hi folks, I am an international students and just graduated from highschool. Feel like it is not hard to start a conversation but it is hard to go on become friends with my classmates... Can anyone give me some advice??

Community college can be tough in that respect since the population is usually a bit transient and people don’t usually view it as a social experience. However, I have made a few friends or at least temporary “pals.” The biggest thing is to find people who look open to talking, chat about an assignment or ask how their weekend was or something. Build from there. But expand your horizons beyond their appearance. Several times there have been people that I thought looked “cool” that I would have liked to talk to, but when I tried they were totally not open to it & came off a bit snobby. So I would talk to other people and almost always find someone interesting and friendly.
