How to make sure that I will score a 800 on Math and WR?

Hello everyone,
I will take the SAT in 4 days. What I have already done:

Math: I have done more than 1500 math problems altogether. My current score is around a 800, but I want to solve a couple of hard questions to be confident that I'll score a 800.
So, the question is what should I do to make sure that I'll score a 800?

WR: I have done about 2000 questions altogether.( all PSAT-s, QAS-es, OC, BB). Probably, I will make up examples in my essay. Anyway, I will write as much as I can to get a 11-12. The questions is the same: how to make sure that I'll score a 800?

Thanks.

I'll appreciate if someone who had already got a 800 in either of these sections, would write his or her opinion.

Thanks.

I recommend hovering around the “SAT Prep” on CC. The math questions asked on CC tend to be some of the hardest questions you’ll ever encounter on the SAT. When I respond I usually give thorough explanations so the thread creator and other people can thoroughly understand how to approach the problem, how to find the answer efficiently, and how to find the “trick” in the problem.

Good luck on the December SAT!

Thanks AvidStudent

I got an 800 on writing. The key in the MC section is to never lose focus. Also, in real life, get really bothered when you hear something grammatically wrong. Otherwise, you’ll fall for things like a hypothetical using the word “was” instead of “were.”

The essay is just writing, if you can’t think of anything, then BS the examples.

But how about a Barron’s 2400?

Triple check. Or if your fast enough, quadruple-check.

You can never guarantee an 800, especially in Math. Past a 750, what you get is determined mostly by chance. You might feel especially nervous that day so you count one extra and get one wrong, or maybe there’s some far-fetched essay topic about nature.

I’ve done around the same # of problems you have, and the only thing I can say is there’s never a guarantee. However, you can help your chances by checking every single problem, no matter how easy it seems.

How do I know this? 800 in Math June, 770 in Math October -.-

Yes, October Math was very confusing. I got a 530 instead of a 700 or higher.
