I am a fresh university, and want to know how to make my university life be rich and colorful, so I can have good memories in future.

from experience, join clubs and organizations. nothing can be better than that.

Take a very light course load for your first semester: You need time to adjust not just to being in college (like everyone else), but to a different culture and to a language in which you are obviously not fully proficient. If you are struggling the the full course load, you will not have time to join the clubs and organizations, make friends in your dorm, and explore your new home.

Be active in the college community. Join clubs, attend events and parties, etc.

Plus it’s the quickest way to make new friends, imo

Greek life!!!

greek life sucks tbh, just go to events and such, their always fun.

Join a fraternity. Join clubs related to your interests.

Join clubs. If you’re interested in media do things like student radio, tv, newspaper, etc. It’s tons of fun!

Also try to do at least one really cool elective each semester. (of course, don’t do this if it’ll mess up your graduation time!) Try a course for fun, pick a subject you’ve always thought you’d be interested in, or take a class in your major that sounds really cool.

Look at all the classes offered at your school’s gym/wellness center. Some schools offer some really cool classes like archery.

Buy a pet tiger.

^ and take it to your speech communication class for show and tell.

^where said tiger will dance and sing for your new found friends.

Go to parties if you are an introvert and play video games if you are an extrovert

Whenever you’re presented with the option of doing something absent obvious reasons for not doing it, do it.

^ say yes to life!

If anybody offers you something for free: take it.

Probably the most interesting thing for me in university life is the sports. Going to a div. I sports school a huge part of the social life is based around sports…tailgating for football, the football student section, the izzone, and March Madness/cedarfest for basketball etc. Even if you are not a big sports fan it is worth at least going to a couple football or basketball games - the environment there might surprise you. March madness or bowl game pools, student section cheers, painting stomaches for a game, painting people’s faces at tailgate etc. are a huge part of my college memories. Of course the sports experience greatly depends on what kind-of school you go to, but if you are even vaguely interested in sports definitely look into it.

Do everything! Give yourself no limits (well you know what I mean).

I’ve learned to say yes to a lot more stuff. It’s college, go out and have fun and do some crazy stuff that you normally wouldn’t do (as long as it’s not too illegal and mostly safe). But on the other hand, you still have to juggle your schoolwork but you have free time.
