How to make those last 200 or so points?

The first time I took a SAT, I made a 1800 or so. Now, I am consistently making about a 2200 on the SAT. How can I earn those last few points to get a 2400? Would it be easier to take the SAT before the change or after?
I have read the Black Book (which has helped me alot). I currently reading the Critical Reader. I getting pretty close to an 800 on the math section, but more in the 700s for the other 2.

I second CHD2013’s suggestion. Also understand that some of it is luck - you make a silly mistake, you’re tired, and boom the 800’s gone. When you do untimed practice at home though, you should be getting everything correct. If you miss something, dissect your mistake, understand why you messed up, and make sure you don’t do it again. Good luck!

Wow good job! A 2200 is really great! What have you done to raise your critical reading score? Any tips?
