Hey!

My dream school, Davidson College, notification date is December 15th and I'm going crazy just waiting for that email. What is some advice you guys have on waiting this time out?

Work on other applications?

That sounds nerve-wrecking. I’m still a Junior, so I can only imagine the anxiety. Good luck!

watch tv
listen to music
text friends
have fun
do other homework

You totally get me @awakeningvenus. And I’ve been trying all those other things but that isn’t making time go by fast enough. I know this may be anal but I’ve been waiting since september when I applied and I don’t think I can hold out much longer. Is anyone else going through this too?

This month has been going faster for me than I’ve expected. I think I’m spending it thinking about how much I really need to be working on other applications and homework and then not doing those things.

Yeah, I’m kind of just too busy to dwell on it. I’m also emotionally preparing myself for rejection by convincing myself that I don’t really care either way :D

@NIHHIHH - Empty your mind. Empty your mind of everything that has to do with [college applications]. [College applications] and breathing.

Seriously, though, find something else to do to take your mind off of college apps. Sports, friends, a pet, someone to yell at, a tree to hit your head against. Anything! Good luck :)

Get a girlfriend.
