how to narrow down the small liberal arts

im a senior this year and i am going to muhlenberg college in PA next year

when you said “nurturing” muhlenberg immediately came to my mind as it’s known as the “college that cares”- i found it to be my favorite college out of the dozen that i visited with Union in Schnectady, NY as a close second.

this post wasn’t meant to be biased… I think that since the LA schools are all so similar, visiting them is the best way to determine which one is the best fit. You really get a feel for the campus, the students, and the way things are run at the college. I originally liked Ursinus more than Muhlenberg, but after I visiited both schools, I realized Ursinus wasn’t for me and Muhlenberg was the perfect fit. You’re really not going to know which one is the best for your child until you actually go visit and interact with the students and faculty. Regardless of whether or not you take the tour, I highly reccomend going and talking to students on your own because a lot of the time, the tour guide might be a bit bland and i also feel like the tour is a bit more superficial than going around on your own.

some schools you might want to keep in mind are;

Dickinson, F&M, Muhlenberg, Ursinus, Union, and Drew. I didn’t read the other posts so some of these might have been said

Anyways, good luck!
